The P239 is exceptionally well made, and with the typical Sig technical characteristics makes it a great choice. The two problems with it are the grip and the trigger. It seems the only part made in the US, the grip, is best suited for a small 14 year old girl, so anyone with normal male adult hands even on the small side, will have to change to wood grips the only choice that would enlarge them. Hogue makes them $64 to $84. The trigger pull is also a bit heavy for the DA even with the DAK system that cocks the hammer half way on blowback. It’s smooth but a bit too heavy for the slide size.
